Presence, Transition, and Honoring the Season

As we move into the final stretch of the year, many of us feel the holidays in a complex way. This season can be filled with light and connection, yes — but it can also bring up grief, old patterns, and shifting relationships. Some of us are spending the holidays without someone who was once central to our lives. Some are experiencing certain relationships that have fallen away, or that family dynamics no longer feel aligned with who we are becoming. Others may feel themselves pulled back into familiar roles they’ve already outgrown.

There’s a saying I return to often:

“People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.”

Its deeper meaning holds so much compassion and clarity:

  • A reason — Someone enters your life to teach you something, redirect your path, or spark important growth.
  • A season — They accompany you for a stretch of time, and the connection naturally completes.
  • A lifetime — They remain with you long-term, evolving alongside you.

This perspective helps us release people without bitterness, and honor the role they played – even if the ending was painful. It reminds us that relationships aren’t always meant to stay, but they always mean something.

I, too, have been moving through significant shifts in my own relationships, and it’s reminded me how essential it is to stay present, even when the process feels heavy. Growth often asks us to sit with discomfort, to hold the tension of what is changing, and to trust that shedding is part of becoming.  PRESENCE truly is the invitation of this season — not rushing the healing, not bypassing the emotions, simply honoring where you are.

In the Chinese zodiac, 2025 is the Year of the Snake, a cycle known for inner transformation.
The Snake invites us to release old layers — identities, patterns, and even relationships — that have completed their purpose. It’s a year of transformation through truth and presence, one that asks us to slow down, listen inward, and courageously shed what feels too tight for who we’re becoming.

This clearing creates the space we need to step into the energy of 2026 —

The Year of the Horse.
Where the Snake is reflective, the Horse is expansive. It brings forward momentum, renewed purpose, confidence, and the kind of freedom that comes from living in deeper alignment. Horse energy invites movement and expansion — not frantic motion, but empowered direction. It encourages us to step into our authenticity, reconnect with our drive, and allow ourselves to run freely again.

So if you find yourself moving through transition during this holiday season, know that you are not alone. You are simply shedding what no longer fits so you can enter the next chapter lighter, clearer, and more open to possibility.

Reflection questions for this holiday season:

  1. What am I being asked to release with grace, rather than force?
  2. Where am I being invited to be more present — even if it’s uncomfortable?
  3. Who or what has been a “reason,” a “season,” or a “lifetime” in my life this year?
  4. What energy am I ready to carry into the New Year — freedom, expansion, purpose, or something else?
  5. What new vision or direction is quietly calling me forward?

As we prepare to welcome this next cycle, I’d love to support you in stepping into the New Year with clarity, intention, and inspired energy.

January 2026 Sound Healer Certification Course (January 16–18)

After the incredible response to the last cohort — which completely sold out — I’m excitedly preparing for the next Sound Healer Course, happening January 16–18, 2026.

This immersive, hands-on training is designed for anyone feeling called to sound healing, whether you’re beginning your journey or expanding an existing practice.

Over the three days, you’ll learn the foundations of sound healing, intuitive facilitation, instrument techniques, energetic principles, and how to confidently guide others through transformative sound experiences. It’s a powerful, heart-centered container that tends to bring the right people together at exactly the right time.

This round is already nearly full — there is currently only 1 spot left, and it may sell out soon.
Applications are due December 16.

If you feel the pull toward sound healing, this may be your moment to step in.

Peaceful Presence

As we move through the quiet, darker days of winter, may you find pockets of presence, peace, and warmth. This season invites us to slow down, soften, and remember our own inner light — the one that guides us even when the world feels still. My wish for you is a peaceful holiday, filled with gentle moments that remind you of who you are and who you are becoming. May you continue to step into your light with grace.
